Scott & White Hospital

One of the greatest compliments one can give a residency is that it produces well-trained physicians ready to practice independently, and UTMB does just that. During my four years, I was exposed to healthy patients having day surgery procedures and critically ill patients undergoing heart transplants, and everything in between. The overall breadth of cases at UTMB prepared me for any type of practice. I got a great education, learned from some nationally recognized attendings, and did it all in a collegial environment on the beach. What more could one ask?
